The Administrative Assistant will have to perform various office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entry and shortage controls. Reporting to the Finance and Office Administrator, the Administrative Assistant will work within the framework of policies and procedures for casino finance and gaming administration support.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effective prioritizing, organizing and following up on office tasks to be accomplished
- Maintain confidentiality & security of all casino assets such as workbooks, financial details, etc.
- Accurate and effective completion of all casino paper work
- Casino daily purchases
- Vendor control and invoice handling
- Computer entry and recording of dales and purchases in various workbooks
- Ensure proper internal control standards and operating policies are in place always
- Attends all required meetings and training
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications required
- Must be 19 years or over
- Bilingual (English and French) is preferred
- Post-secondary education in administration, finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with a remote team
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
